Glamorous Chevron Channel Headboard with Velvet & Metal

Velvet softness meets polished metal precision, this Glamorous Chevron Channel Headboard with Velvet & Metal combines mirrored diagonal velvet panels with chrome-finish metal trim inserts — a mixed-material design that brings a glamorous, art deco-influenced edge to any bedroom. The Glamorous Chevron Channel Headboard with Velvet & Metal layout works the same way as its all-velvet counterpart — diagonal panels running inward from each outer edge, meeting symmetrically at a central V-point — but the addition of chrome metal trim strips between each velvet panel fundamentally changes the character of the piece. Where an all-velvet chevron headboard reads as textured and soft, the metal inserts here add a hard, reflective contrast that sharpens every line and makes the panel divisions crisp and deliberate. The chrome strips catch light directly and reflect it back into the room, creating a headboard that shifts visually between daytime and evening lighting conditions. Against the soft blush velvet, the effect is particularly striking — warm fabric against cool metal, soft texture against reflective surface. The smooth dark lower base panel below the tufted section and velvet-upholstered vertical side borders complete the structured, two-tone composition without adding unnecessary complexity. Key Features Chevron mirrored diagonal channel panels → Diagonal velvet strips run inward from each outer edge, meeting at a central V-point — a symmetrical, directional layout that creates strong visual movement and centres the eye directly behind the pillow zone Chrome metal trim inserts between every panel → Polished metal strips sit flush between each velvet channel section, adding a hard reflective contrast that sharpens the chevron geometry and shifts the headboard's character from purely soft to mixed-material glamour Velvet upholstery throughout upper panel and side borders → Soft pile fabric provides warmth and tactile depth across the diagonal panels and side columns, balancing the cool reflectivity of the metal trim Two-tone contrasting lower base panel → Smooth dark lower section beneath the chevron tufting creates a deliberate compositional split — grounding the design and preventing the metallic upper section from feeling too busy Upholstered vertical side border panels → Structured velvet-covered columns frame both outer edges, completing the headboard's silhouette with a furniture-quality finish Straight flat-top profile with rounded upper corners → Clean horizontal roofline with softened top corners keeps the headboard proportionally versatile across different bed sizes and room configurations Specifications Specification Detail Style Chevron diagonal channel tufting with metal trim Upholstery Velvet (upper panel and side borders) Trim Inserts Chrome-finish metal strips between each panel Lower Panel Smooth contrasting dark base panel Tufting Layout Mirrored diagonal panels meeting at centre V-point Top Profile Straight with rounded upper corners Wing Panels None — upholstered side border columns What's in the Box 1 x Glamorous Chevron Channel Headboard with Velvet & Metal
